About Peace Lutheran Church

About Us

Mission Statement

Based on The Great Commission from Matthew 28:18-20

“And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

We are therefore Commission Critical to the 4th Power in the four areas of discipleship, fellowship, stewardship, and worship.

Vision Statement

“Compelled by the Holy Spirit and the WORD, PEACE LUTHERAN CHURCH will exist to be a growing and maturing church and community, for spiritual empowerment for the transformation and renewal of God’s People.”

Belief Statement

We respond to the love of the Triune God: The three persons of the Trinity are coequal and coeternal, one God.

Father, Creator of all that exists;

Jesus Christ, the Son, Redeemer who became human to suffer and die for the sins of all human beings and to rise to life again in the ultimate victory over death and Satan;

Holy Spirit, Sanctifier who creates faith through God’s Word and Sacraments.
